- RN licensure in Texas or compact state license
- 3.0 minimum GPA from last 60 hours of college coursework

- Please be advised that the Doctor of Nursing Practice: BSN to DNP applicants will be required to complete an embedded online interview as part of the application process within Nursing CAS (Centralized Application Service for Nursing Programs).
- A minimum of 1 year (2,000 hours) of Registered Nurse (RN) experience in a clinical setting is required and should be documented on your resume. Please upload your resume to your NursingCAS application

Program Information
The BSN to DNP (Doctor of Nursing Practice) is a doctoral degree that prepares students for the highest level of nursing practice. This program is designed for students who hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. Applicants to the BSN-to-DNP program will choose a specialization track in one of the following:
- Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP)
- Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
- Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP)
- Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
