About me
I’m a Washington State native who had never been to Texas until I found myself in San Antonio for medical school. I love Long School of Medicine, and have been so grateful for all the people I’ve met, the interest groups and other clubs I’ve been able to be a part of, and the education I’m receiving. I got married as a pre-med student and we were both accepted to Long SOM, and we love being able to learn together. I’m primarily interested in sub-speciality pediatrics, but excited for clerkships and electives to learn exactly where I will fit in the medical world.

Topics I feel comfortable talking about
Balancing a relationship during medical school, applying as a couple, establishing boundaries so that schoolwork doesn't take over (for example, I never study on Sundays as it is a religious day for me), anything abut being a student at Long.
What I hope to gain from this experience
It was important to me to be able to hear from students at a medical school while I was considering that school. I love being at Long SOM, and I want others to be able to have the same opportunities to reach out that I did.
