FACULTY:

Dr. Theresa Barton is a pediatric infectious disease doctor with ºÚÁÏÍø and University Hospital.  She is passionate about working with adolescents with HIV, and that interest has evolved. 

OVERVIEW:

Dr. Theresa Barton discusses with host Holly Wayment why the flu is now the number one virus hitting people, including children hard, and what pediatric practitioners can do.  She also answers questions about RSV hitting children especially hard and Covid, and gives the latest guidelines for diagnosis, treatment and prevention.  Wayment and Dr. Barton also cover in depth several cases, and questions from community pediatricians.
