The SCC offers personal counseling, services, and outreach. After-hour crisis intervention is also available.
The ºÚÁÏÍø Police Department is nationally accredited by the International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators (IACLEA) and the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA). All police officers are certified peace officers by the State of Texas and respond to emergency and non-emergency calls for service, enforce Texas State laws, UT policies, conduct criminal investigations, and professionally carry out other law enforcement related activities.

You may borrow an electric engraver free of charge for one week (can be used to protect bicycles, cameras, laptops, iPods, cell phones, lab equipment and any other item with a hard surface)

Medical Student Lounge
The Medical Student Lounge (MED 216L) is open to LSOM students as a space for play and relaxation. The lounge is equipped with a kitchen, microwave, couches, chairs, TV, and ping pong, foosball, and pool tables.
Academic Learning and Teacher Center (ALTC)
Choose from a variety of food and beverage options at the ALTC food court while you catch up with a colleague. Various relaxation and collaborative spaces to study or socialize are also available.
ALTC Courtyard / Outdoor Seating
Have a picnic on the grass, throw a football or frisbee, or connect with nature.
Compassion Path
The Compassion Path is a trail of 11 trees along the walking and jogging path in front of the Long Campus. Each tree along the path is marked with a special plaque beneath it conveying a different compassion statement at every tree, meant to encourage peaceful relaxation and reflection for those that walk the path. The project is part of the , the first council resolution Mayor Nirenberg signed when he took office in 2017, which affirmed San Antonio as an official Compassionate City, now among 450 cities around the world. San Antonio was one of the first compassionate cities worldwide to integrate systemic compassion into educational institutions through .

Outdoor Recreation Pavillion
