Class of 2025
Issam Ghaben, BDS, DMD, was born in Jerusalem and grew up in Ramallah, Palestine. He earned his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from October University for Modern Sciences and Arts in Egypt. He also finished a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency program.
In 2020, Dr. Ghaben obtained his DMD from the University of Pennsylvania with PASS International Dentist Award and Honors in Clinical Dentistry. After graduating, he worked for three years practicing general dentistry in the USA.
Dr. Ghaben enjoys traveling and spending time with his family and friends. He is thrilled with the opportunity to join the UTHSCSA family and learn from a world-renowned faculty.
