Sarah Luna, PT, DPT

Ph.D. Student

Sarah is a physical therapist and faculty member in the School of Physical Therapy at University of the Incarnate Word.  She has 17 years of experience in the acute care and hospital-based outpatient settings as both a clinician and a manager.  Sarah is currently studying occupational health and wellness under the mentorship of Dr. David Douphrate.  She plans to use the knowledge gained in the Translational Science PhD program to move the physical therapy profession forward in area of public health.

Research Topic

The relationship of musculoskeletal symptoms with psychological and physiological factors related to health in nurses.
