Ms. Brieanna Flowers-Joseph is a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and Predoctoral Fellow on Dr. Lisa Cleveland鈥檚 Maternal-Newborn research team at 黑料网, School of Nursing. For the past 5 years, Brieanna has worked at San Antonio Pediatric Developmental Services where she diagnosis, manages, treats, and monitors developmental progression/outcomes of infants and children with a variety of conditions and adverse experiences to include: premature birth, multiple gestation births, prenatal drug-exposure, genetic-chromosomal disorders, Autism, behavioral/psychological disparities, sexual/physical abuse, and placement in the foster care system. Brieanna鈥檚 interests are to make an impact on the stigmatized stimulant exposed mother-infant dyad populations in hopes to positively change the trajectory of their lives. Her hope is to aid in decreasing the national stimulant substance abuse crisis amongst pregnant mothers and their high-risk stimulant exposed infants through research analysis and implementation of effective mother-infant dyad coregulatory interventions into the community.
